AluBoxDuoLan connecting two disks with NDAS
Hi all, I can not connect two disks to my AluBoxDuoLan ACR-HD50190 via NDAS (LAN). Both disk are visible when I am connected with USB. I switch one disk as Master and one as Slave as required in documentation. Disk which is switched to Slave is not visible in properties->hardware tab. Thanks for help.

Hi Peter,
Because there are a number of reasons for the AluBoxDuo not to work properly, we'll have to check out all the details. Could you post your O/S version, NDAS version number, harddisk make and model and any other specifics?

Re: AluBoxDuoLan connecting two disks with NDAS
Hi Peter,
When you register the device ID using the NDAS software, at that point does it detect and gives you an option to mount the HDDs in Read/Write mode?
If not, you may want to try checking and use the NDAS device ID that is labelled directly on the PCB? That ID is the most accurate should you happen to lose the ID on the CD envelope or manual or in the event that the IDs happened to be swapped unknowingly.

Re: AluBoxDuoLan connecting two disks with NDAS
Hi
I have a similar problem as Peter. I have a Alubox duo lan for sata. I can access both sata disks through USB, but just one when I connect through Lan. NDAS managment only shows one. It allows me to mount it with read/write previledges.
I am using windows XP version 2002, Service Pack 2.
My goal was to set up a raid 0 array using both disks. Bind managment fails to see the second disk. Has anyone manage to mount two disks and access them through Lan with this product? Can you help me figuring out why I cannot?
Another question: Are there drivers to support NDAS for windows XP x64 ?
Thank you, in advance J. J. Cavalleri
