Forgot to ask. Will this play AVCHD recordings from a camcorder

Pherhaps this card reader is a solution? But what about the software?

Singapore is on DVB-T and I'm considering getting the ACR-PV75100 Dual Analog-Digtal tuner box which is currently available here.

Two questions -

1) I don't subscribe to cable TV & don't have a set top box (for HD TV) as I only watch free-to-air TV. I have a Panasonic DMR-E95H HDD DVD recorder to record TV programs currently. If I want to watch pre-recorded programs on the Panasonic & record live TV with the PV75100 at the same time will this be possible or should I wait for the PV75120?

2) Slightly OT but what is the max. no. of timer programs that I can pre-set to record on the PV75100/75120?

What you mean Free to Air, are you referring to HD5/HD8 using DVB-T ? Our wall antenna in Singapore are also free to Air channels in analog.

Ah ok, so analog should still be ok as I don't have cable set top box to receive digital HD programs. By Free To Air I mean no cable subscription programs like normal Ch5, Ch8, CNA, etc.

Any idea if analog will be totally phased out in Singapore later? If so by when? Thanks.

I'm from Singapore.

1) Will Dual DVBT be able to record analog programmes via the set top box of Starhub/Mio?

2) Will Dual DVBT be able to record programmes if there are 2 set top box from Starhub and Mio (Though MDA recently announced that both service providers must carry contents from each other.

3) What if I do not have any set top box at all! Will I be able to use the Dual DVBT to record analog programmes? I.e. using analog antenna (espcially external antenna) to trasmit signal and then do the recording?

4) My HD TV already comes with digital tuner. How will it help and enhance or affect the pure viewing and also recording of the TV programmes?

5) Since Singapore has'nt gone full HD yet, which means that there is no digital antenna installed in most of our unique homeland, instead we have to 'payp' for 'free' to air HD5/8 via cable service providers. Is there any test being done on the digital reception on using portable digital antenna?

Lastly, I am a World Cup fan...... You know what I mean1?

It will be really helpful if you could enlighten us!

France : would defintively be interested by dual HD digital , to be able looking at one of the 4 HD free channels while registering another one.

Is the product available now ?

Whether supports the analogue tuner the Russian standards of TV, PAL-D/SECAM?
