Post Transcode Server Problem
I am using vista and could play avi files from the Public folder of my PC but I couldn't play mkv and rmvb files from my PC using the transcode server.

The event log showed something like the following:
"Start listening on port for name service socket 8080.... '15'
Received Command: 'DataConnect' '0'
Start listening on port 8084.... '0'
Failed to receive data ('connection is closed') '0'
Connection 1 (Command) closed by peer '0'
StopServer 1() '0'"

Is it a problem about the DHCP settings or what? Please help.

On a Windows Vista platform, we would advise that you minimise the Transcodeserver terminal window before you select the unsupported formats on your TV to playback. That should do the trick. Do try and let us know. ;)
