dear plug on device development team,

i enjoyed your tooling on my pohd, but now a tried 2510 based on sdk3, and having trouble to install/connect the oleg driver. When do you expect to be able to connect to the pohd with sdk3?

best regards

I didn't try yet.

Send me the error message and the log window content, because I can't do anything without that.

error during connection, unable to install driver.
doinstalldriver: unable to create pod link. you may need to install firmware from scratch

Could you connect via Telnet to your POHD (use Putty) and send me the output of these commands :

"mount"
"df"

Thanks.

Oleg driver can't be installed on this firmware because of that :

Quote:
Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/root 81280 81280 0 100% /
/dev/mtdblock/2 8192 1412 6780 17% /usr/local/etc
/dev/rd/0 40 40 0 100% /mnt/rd
/dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 976270048 456294772 519975276 47% /tmp/hdd/volumes/HDD1
/dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part3 155555 15215 132308 10% /tmp/hdd/root

I've ask to AC Ryan team to leave some space on the root filesystem

I'm having the same problem with r2891 (latest beta):

mount-output (no hdd installed yet):
/dev/root on / type yaffs2 (rw,noatime)
none on /dev type devfs (rw)
none on /proc type proc (rw,nodiratime)
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw)
none on /sys type sysfs (rw)
none on /tmp type ramfs (rw)
/dev/mtdblock/2 on /usr/local/etc type yaffs2 (rw,noatime)
/dev/rd/0 on /mnt/rd type vfat (rw,nodiratime,fmask=0022,dmask=0022,codepage=cp437,iocharset=iso8859-1)

df-output:
Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/root 75008 75008 0 100% /
/dev/mtdblock/2 8192 1424 6768 17% /usr/local/etc
/dev/rd/0 40 40 0 100% /mnt/rd

To AC Ryan staff :

Could you please add some free space in this mount : "/dev/root on / type yaffs2 (rw,noatime)"

POD Installer need to create some links here, so we need some free bytes (1K is enough)

Thanks.

kawakinho has made a custom firmware with some free space to install opt ware links.

It's available here :

http://www.plugondevice.com/downloads/r2891hacked.zip

Thanks kawakinho !

Thanks for this hacked firmware! I finally could install the OptWare driver successfully. I can enjoy my torrents downloaded via Transmission from now on :D
