Can anyone help me out?
I've read every discussion about the Playon! HD players not working properly.
My player suddenly stopped working the last few weeks.
I installed the latest firmware version installed (in safe modus) in March this year.
After that i cannot turn the player off, by remote or on the player itself. Only by pulling the powercable.
When I turm it on, the screen will say "!"WIFI plug-in", but further than that the player will not go.
I also tried the "TV-sys"button, and waited for 10-15 seconds...nothing.
Re-booting doesn't work either.
Could someone plese help me out here? I've tried to contact ACRYAN 3 times now, but got put on hold every time for more than 20 minutes.

Did ya tried to safe relflash it again ?

Yes, I did that a week before I posted the message on this forum.
I ran the whole procedure again, and got the same results as before.
Now I'm thinking it;s maybe a hardware problem, and not the software.

First of all sorry for any inconvenience. You can try to disconnect the Wi-Fi dongle and the internal HDD if there are and try to boot again the player.

Sorry for the late response but my work got most of my time.
I tried to do what you sugested and the player starts and I can use the remote.
But that's it, even turning off can only be done by pulling the power cable, because the on/off button on the remote and player do not respond.

I also got a reply from AcRyan support desk and they suggested to try to do the following...(in dutch)....
"Het beste kunt u de firmware versie 7317 installeren. Installeer eerst versie 3582 en vervolgens versie 7317".

So first the old version, and next the latest one....cannot even start up now....player stays on screensaver mode or sometimes de TV gives "no signal" .
I think this is a hardware issue now, and I requested a RMA at AcRyan.

If the suggested sollution not works then it's indeed better to send the player back for repair.
