Post jumping (cut) video picture
Hi ACR staff. I've problem from moment I change ACR playon HD to VEOLO . Screen on my teli is not "fluent" when I playing any movies my picture is jumping (cut), every second stopping for fraction of a second and back to playing. I tried each available players and soft for veolo, and still same. first time I changed hard drive (think is faulty) but nothing change. I "found" solution, because when I streaming movie by DLNA to teli, is playing perfect but (1st)doesn't support every one video formats and important for me doesn't support 3D. (2nd) streaming is not the best way to watching movies all the time.
Mentions, is doesn't matter what format video is (divx, xvid, rmvb, mkv, LD, SD, HD, FULL HD or 3D) still is same story.
If You need I can record this and send link with ujn emo.
sorry for my English but I think I write undetectable enough.

You never mentioned anything about your setup or how the box is connected. If you're playing from the network, I do recommend for you to try streaming using Wired network connection and test again the playback. If your are doing the playback via the direct USB drives connected into the set then it should play fine. Sorry for any inconvenience.

By the way we do not allow double posting, I will delete the post you created in another thread. If you have any further question regarding the same issue please post it here. Hope you understand, again sorry for any inconvenience.

Hi Roger. Thanx for Your reply and I'll correction my 1st post.
My standard connection to my teli is HDMI and I've problem with this configuration (playing from hdd-USB via HDMI) because when I playing movie from hdd via streaming, is OK. when I playing movie (for example from YouTube app 1080p) via HDMI is OK too. Just I've problem to playing with normal way via HDMI from any hdd , memory card or flash drive. I know this is incredible but I'll try record this on my camcorder and show U.
I'm afraid it's a hardware problem, not the software
regarding.

Hi, so the issue is the playback of media files coming from USB connected to the player directly. Quite strange as USB connection supposed to give you the best result in terms of video playback. Are those the same video file you played and works fine under network?

Hope you can upload a clip of the video file for us to download and test. Or you can use "mediainfo" its a free software that you can run on your PC and it will help to view the media file information. sorry for any inconvenience.

Hi, regarding the video link you posted, I can assume that it does only happen in some certain scene and not the entire video playback? As Veolo is a software decoding and a multi tasking device it might due to the things running on your device, like your live wallpaper as it also consumes resources please try using a simple wallpaper. You can also check if you clear cache or disable any other running application. To summarize it, comparing Android processor and a full media processor like the one that PlayOn!HD have, both have advantages in many different aspects. PlayON uses hardware decoding in playing video files which support and normally process scenes with high bit rate. For ARM it uses software to run the video.

For your convenience I'd suggest that you contact your vendor first for them to check and for you to know on how to get a replacement. If you think that it is easier for you to send it directly to us via RMA method then you can also do so, please let us know. Sorry for any inconvenience.
