1. I have to go to "Netzwerk" in the file explorer (using German language "Netzwerk = LAN")
and there \\DLINK\movies/movie.avi. What pops up in Opera is:
"file:///DLINK/movies/movie.avi" which is the same scheme as in the first post in this thread.

I put 2 movies in a subdir on a USB stick.
Generated the Jukebox on the USB stick (mounted to Veolo) inside root dir.

Jukebox GUI work from Opera, filepath to movies is:

"file:///VEOLO-00C30E/share/USB/D/test/movie.avi"

Nada, can't start movies out of YAMJ

What did you set up in YAMJ GUI Config?

I did not use YAMJ GUI. I just entered the path: file:///mnt/sda/sda1 in the configuration xml file
(which is the path to the usb drive connected to veolo, the port in the back, not the side one. I guest that the side one would be file:///mnt/sda/sda2)

and again several hours waisted without success.

Used the "CIFS Manager". After a lot of unsuccessful tries I found out that CIFS Manager
accepts only 1 subdir after the IP i.e.:

192.168.xxxxxxxx/Volume_1

As my movies are on /Volume_1/test I tried of course to assign that path but that is not working
(by the way: same for "Mount Manager").

After mounting my movies are accessible from the USB stick attached to Veolo.
Jukebox is generated and working fine from Opera.
Filepath for movies inside YAMJ is:

file:///VEOLO-00C30E/share/USB/D/NAS/test/movie.avi
(whereas NAS/test is the mounted path to the external NAS).
Starting movies from YAMJ is NOT possible.

Any ideas?

FINALLY I MANAGED !!

After reading once more the whole thread I saw a note from zafiris:

"I did not use YAMJ GUI. I just entered the path: file:///mnt/sda/sda1 in the configuration xml file"

That was the key.
In GUI config you can manually edit the NMT path. Entering:

"File:///mnt/sda/sda1/NAS/test"

solves the riddle.

I have setup YAMJ as per the how to guide ( viewtopic.php?f=183&t=19344&p=133054#p133054 )

I am able to view the index.htm with no issues.
however when I try to click to play the movie, Veolo shows error "The application settings (process.com.android.setting) has stopped unexpectedly). Pls try again" and closes the browser.

Kindly help please.
