 Re: [Official] Firmware_VEOLO_ACR-VE91200_v1.0.0.932
If ICS will not work, will resources be laid on fixing the current firmware? or will the product be discontinued?
If discontinued, will customers be compensated with refunds?

If discontinued, will customers be compensated with refunds? If we can try ICS and it is not working then we will continue developing firmware for 2.x.x OS. But if the issue is on the 2.x.x OS itself then same thing as Branded Phone and Tablets having the same OS, we cannot do anything. From what I know only products that is totally not working or can do harm can be discontinued. Hope we answer it clearly.

I have used Froyo devices before and all worked well and did not crash etc like Veolo does.
It is very clear the product does not do and perform as AC Ryan claims in their marketing.
As seen in this forum there is no commitment from AC Ryan to address these issues.
Would be only fair to inform the facts to your customers insted of these we may or may not games. Afterall it's us your paying customers that keep your company running.

 Re: [Official] Firmware_VEOLO_ACR-VE91200_v1.0.0.932
Froyo 2.2 has many bugs and issues and I also personally own a LG Optimus x2 with base stock 2.2.2 Froyo installed and there are big issues there as well. Not all the same, but just to give you a personal experience with Froyo from another device.
What we are doing to improve things, is to listen to end users such as yourself, and if you have issues or bugs that we can reproduce, we report them to our developers and for them to find a solution / fix. The reason it's taking a bit long at this moment we have already mentioned. They are working on ICS and not on the Froyo 2.2.
For your information, all that is said about the Veolo on our website and marketing is true. I'm not saying you are not experiencing issues, but you are a bit off when you say this "It is very clear the product does not do and perform as AC Ryan claims in their marketing.".
Best regards,

Even though veolo has 1GHz proc, the 512MB memory and NOT dedicated GPU it might not be enough for running ICS. But I hope ac ryan team successful implement ICS or at least HC(do you, ac ryan team also trying develop this? just asking) or GB. Because Froyo limitation cant using equalizer/sound emulate from any media player eg.Winamp(it crash any version), NRG player (muted when EQ on). GB is far much better than Froyo(in my personal opinion).

@ Nifleheim
Sorry that we cannot answer and guarantee you anything until we hear the latest news/result from our developer regarding ICS. Sorry for any inconvenience.

 Re: [Official] Firmware_VEOLO_ACR-VE91200_v1.0.0.932
BTW: Because the 512MB ram is shared linux can only use 306MB. But I saw, that linux can use more because there is a little bit unallocated RAM!
By changing the boot-parameter I could increase the RAM to 392MB. I don't know if this will have side-effects, so @AcRyan: Can you contact your devs about that?

 Re: [Official] Firmware_VEOLO_ACR-VE91200_v1.0.0.932
hi there, i ran into some problems with firmware .932 and .8xx over the last few months, and started to get annoyed, i almost returned my Veolo to get another brand, but i thought i would rather use it and test a few things out and see what works.. there have been a number of things i have tried. BUT one noticible thing on the standard firmware was that the Google PlayStore/Market, happened to be causing a number of problems, including crashing, random restarts and more problems. without using the "PlayStore", i have had no problems, and performance is rather good. To get apps, i either got them from Aptoide ( www.bazaarandroid.com) or the Mobilism site. This is one noticable thing that helps, but i will write up and post a log of all the things that i tried and that worked soon..
