Ok the aspect ratio is set to 4:3 letter box.

I then scroll down the menu to pick the screensize option and I still only see the top and bottom red lines. Nothing to the right or left.

:(

The red lines are obviously still outside the screen area.
Keep pressing the LEFT key (I think) until they appear.

Post Re: Vertical hold setup question
Ok, I now see the frame on both sides. I had to hold it down on the left arrow for about 8 or 9 seconds. The left and right lines are equal distant from the screen edge but the top and bottom are still off with the top having more space in relation to the bottom.

When I expand the frame, the bottom red line disappears first with still more space for the top. Which leads back to my previous comment about moving the red frame as a whole slightly up before expanding it.

Do you all understand what I'm saying? Can that be done? :)

Not with the player....

Have you tried some of the settings on your TV? There should be something there to do it.

What I normally do is have the red lines just inside the TV area until I get it all adjusted and then expand it 1 keypress until the red lines just disappear.

Sorry I took so long to get back.

No, there aren't any settings for this TV unfortunately. I'll just have to deal with that as best I can until this TV dies out or I decide to get a LED flat panel to replace it.

But I appreciate your help, thanks. :)
