Re: A question about ACRyan mini 2
Where do you store the movie file and its corresponding srt file? on an external USB HDD connected directly to the Mini2 or on your PC, or on a NAS?

Re: A question about ACRyan mini 2
When you are saying "it didn't show anything", does that mean you cannot see the .srt file name when you press the Subtitle button on the remote after the movie has started, or you have selected it but no sub text is shown on the screen?
What is your subtitle default setting in Setup -> Misc ?

Re: A question about ACRyan mini 2
Duivels - OK i'll explain all the things I did ... i've download a movie ... and then i've download the sub file ... the sub file is with the ending : SRT... i've checked with the MANUAL if this type of files work with this product and it is ...
Well , I copied both files , the movie and the SUB file into one folder all alone without any other file ... just the movie file and the sub file ...
then I changed the name of one file to a shorter one ... after that I did : Copy Paste to the other file for that the names would be the same ... without any comma or dots ...
after that ... I have entered to the folder from the ACRYAN device to try to run the movie but I didn't saw the SRT file in that folder from the device ... although I've checked many times , and that file was there ... the computer saw it but the ACRYAN couldn't ...
Some user suggested to check the SRT file content : so I did ... and it was fine - like he just said it should be ...
well , after that I start watching the movie and I pressed the "Sub" button on the remote control ... and I saw a message saying that : "There is no Subtitles"
and after that ... I asked for help from you guys ...
( Did I forgot something ? )

Re: A question about ACRyan mini 2
One more suggestion (not a question this time):
Don't use UPnP for subtitles, file shares only.

Re: A question about ACRyan mini 2
@Micky
It comes down to this:-
SRT subtitles WORK without fail. We have all tested and use them!!
So....... There can only be two things wrong.
1. There is something wrong with the SRT, such as invalid content or you have named it incorrectly. 2. You ar not pressing the right buttons.
Stop proclaiming that you are such an expert, read what is said to you and learn to do some basic troubleshooting yourself,
This seems beyond you at the moment and until you can do this, you shouldn't be selling them in your shop.
