 Re: More than one YAMJ
How? Do I just create two directories (i.e. Hi and Hers)? When I first installed YAMJ I used my own directory/folder and could not even get it be recognised? Hence why I dumped the lot into movies.

 Re: More than one YAMJ
I most probaly use this dirctory structure in your situation:-
Movies>His Movies>Hers
ie a His and Hers subdirectory under the Movies Directory.

 Re: More than one YAMJ
I would recommend the same as Gregiboy, and then you have a choice: - 1 YAMJ index, two libraries, so you can filter to either yours or your wife's movies, or 2 seperate YAMJ indexes What do you think, we can help you configure either

Yeah Andy, those were exactly my thoughts also. AndyA wrote: I would recommend the same as Gregiboy, and then you have a choice: - 1 YAMJ index, two libraries, so you can filter to either yours or your wife's movies, or 2 seperate YAMJ indexes What do you think, we can help you configure either

 Re: More than one YAMJ
There are pros and cons to both options. One YAMJ index with two libraries may be a little bit eaiser to configure, but you only get one level of filtering - so If you filter on your library, you cannot then filter your library by letter / year / etc Filtering by any other category other than library would include results from both yours and your wife's libraries Setting up two YAMJ indexes involves a little more effort, but you will then only ever see filtered results from one library Andy

 Re: More than one YAMJ
Sorry for coming back to you. I've done this: Quote: Movies>His Movies>Hers
ie a His and Hers subdirectory under the Movies Directory. which I presume means I have chosen to do this: Quote: One YAMJ index with two libraries

 Re: More than one YAMJ
OK thanks At this time then I presume you now still have a working Jukebox. Now change the libraries section of your ACR_Library.xml file to look like this: - Code: <libraries> <library> <path>B:\movie\his</path> <playerpath>file://../movie/his</playerpath> <exclude name="sample,tmp/,temp/,RECYCLE.BIN/"/> <description>His Movies</description> <prebuf></prebuf> <scrapeLibrary>true</scrapeLibrary> </library> <library> <path>B:\movie\hers</path> <playerpath>file://../movie/hers</playerpath> <exclude name="sample,tmp/,temp/,RECYCLE.BIN/"/> <description>Her Movies</description> <prebuf></prebuf> <scrapeLibrary>true</scrapeLibrary> </library> </libraries>
Check I have the directory names correct - from the messages in this topic it's not clear whether you have a 'movie' or 'movies' directory and this needs to be correct in the <path> and <playerpath> statements for both libraries Put these changes in place, then delete and rebuild a clean new copy of your Jukebox Let us know how it goes Andy

 Re: More than one YAMJ
If you decide after getting this working and having a look at how it works, yo decide that maybe two separate jukeboxes are necessary, let us know and I can set up an example CMD file to do this automatically. I most probably would opt for the two separate jukeboxes myself but the choice is yours. As Andy knows, I have been working on my "Smartarse Automation" module over the past week or so and it is working fine for me. (SO FAR ) Regards Greg
