low Sound when connect using optical to Digital Amplifier.

 low Sound when connect using optical to Digital Amplifier. Hi
i just bought a ACryan HD player Essential, and i am happy with the new player, it just that when i tried to use optical cable from HD player to the amplifier with 7 channel, it produced very low sound, i have set volume to max, but i still dont get better sound it supposed to be.
i tried all movie files, it doenst give any different, but when i tried using my DVD player with such volume, it could crack ear.
in the audio setting, SPDIF, there are 2 options LPCM and RAW, i tried to change one another, its still the same.
what should i do? is my player broken? or i need to update the firmware?

Re: low Sound when connect using optical to Digital Amplifie Increase the volume of the player itself with the remote control (buttons 5 and 7, see the manual). By default it is very low.

Re: low Sound when connect using optical to Digital Amplifie i have done so, the player its self volume has reached max. but sound still low when using the amplifier by optical cable. but when i use tv by HDMI, sound its loud enough.

Playon <- HDMI -> Amplifier/Receiver <- HDMI -> TV
