Re: HDMI doesn't work but RCA works & audio out of sync
I came here to post about exactly the same problem with probably the same TV, and then I saw this topic. I bought an AC Ryan Essential for my father and it really took me weeks to find things out about this problem and find a work around. Actually I should have returned the device to AC Ryan because in fact it's crap. Let me describe.
TV: Samsung D6200
Problem: The audio is delayed compared to the video (don't let people make you think you're wrong and tell you that you need to use the audio delay function of a dolby digital receiver because THEY are wrong). It doesn't matter whether you use HDMI audio, toslink audio or analogue audio output, the sync is completely off: at least 0.5 seconds. And again, it's the audio that is delayed, NOT the video.
Workaround: try 1080i video mode and optionally disable 24p output. It's the only output setting that seems to work and that makes this device usable. 720p, 1080p, 576p, it's all out of sync.
So after weeks my father can finally watch a movie, although with interlaced output. The device is simply not working as it should, but it's usable.
AC RYAN: please get this sorted out and fix it
