Is there someone that can help with the following:
I find that the max number of movies that is indexed with YAMJ shown on the PlayonHD2 to be 1000. I have indexed 1045 movies which includes 5 Sets these all show OK on the PC Browser but when run on the PlayonHD only 1000 is listed do not know what ones are not listed.

The Sets can only be opened on the POHD via the Set drop down menu & when opening them in the normal ALL view the screen opens on with nothing shown.

I am running Firmware_PV73700_v9.5.3.r5440 on the POHD and yamj-2.6-SNAPSHOT-r2972.

you are correct YAMJ is limited to 1000 movie files. In case you run into this problem you might want to split the movies and create a 2nd jukebox.

Surely this is then a problem with the POHD or the firmware as YAMJ shows all movies on the PC.

Will this be rectified with the up and coming firmware?

Would be goof if you could report back on the firmware r7317. As Arne said it's an been reported before - the limitation was there in the SDK3 firmware as well, you are the first report I've seen of the 1000 limit in the SDK4 jukebox

Hi AndyA thanks for the feedback apologies for the delay in replying.
Reason that I am running the hardware r5440 version is that no matter what i tried could not get YAMJ it to work with r7317 when I tried to re-index a new jukebox it started indexing then after a while it stopped, some times the indexing circle would inch forward ever so slowly then the unit would freeze (cannot switch off the unit have to cut at the wall plug NOT GOOD) once it did go through but only ALL movies on the drop down list. and that was the last it worked.

Reverting back to r5440 the jukebox indexed just fine Sets and all.
I tried the r7716 with the same results so am now back to r5440 with the 1000 limit and the Jukebox working just fine

i can confirm that 7317 still has the limit of displaying only 1000 movies in yamj. also it will freeze when trying to re-index so many movies.

The problem appears to be in a Realtek section of the code, and so a fix or workaround is not going to be forthcoming very quickly.
Topic locked as any further info will be in firmware releases, this is a known problem
