My Configuration:
Playon!HD 2 (Software: v9.5.3.r7317)
Windows 7 x64bit
Java 64 bit and 32 bit is installed

1) Downloaded and installed YAMJ Installer v2.0 | 64-bit from
2) Deleted folders "Lib" and "Properties" and "Skins"
3) Donloaded MovieJukebox 2.6.1 from
4) Unziped to MovieJukebox install folder (C:\A.C.Ryan MovieJukebox). Accepted overwriting of files.
5) Run "YAMJ for A.C.Ryan" software with no problems identified

Result:
(1) Index.htm shows all movies when opened on PC. But when I open it on PHD, the list "Title" => "All" is empty. If I choose letter A for example, I can see all movies starting with letter A.

(7) Also when I try to filter by "Year" => "Last Year", I receive empty list (although there are more than twenty 2011.year movies. e.g. Hugo (2011)). When I set filter "Year" => "2010-10" I can see 2010.year movies

Any solutions?

This problem has been seen a number of times and you are part way through finding the solution already.
There is a problem movie (or movies) that for some reason the jukebox does not want to display - could be down to type or name. You already have identified the year 2011 group as a problem - move these outside of YAMJ's scan, and then reintroduce them one at a time. You will find the problem move when the 2011 category is emtpy
Also, when you have taken the movies outside of YAMJ's scan for the first time, rebuild the jukebox (delete index file and jukebox directory and rerun YAMJ) and check the 'All' page shows movies, as there may be other problem files

Thanks for the solution Andy,

1) I removed all 2011.movies. ALL list was still empty
2) Went through each of the letters and noticed that letter "C" was not showing any results (although there were movies starting with "C".
3) Removed movies starting wirh "C" and success - ALL list showed all movies that were left.
4) Corrected "C" movies file names. (removed " ' " and replaced "&" with "and")
5) Added C movies back. ALL list is working.
6) Keep re-adding previos movies back. So far, so good. Everything works.

I'll let you know when all my library is re-added back.

Glad it's all coming together - YAMJ's file naming standards are not fully implemented in the SDK4 jukebox, which, as you've seen, does cause problems

Finished re-adding my movies. Some obervations (maybe it helps others or developers to improve the code)

(1) YAMJ doesn't like " ' " symbol (e.g. Smith's)
(2) To be on safe side I also changed "&" symbol to "and"
(3) Special attention should be paid to movies/files that can be either TV series or a DVD compilation of TV series. See example below:
(3.1) I had a DVD movie file Handy Manny Fixing it Right (2011).avi
(3.2) YAMJ indexed it as:

(3.3) After this "ALL" section showed no movies
(3.4) Deleted Handy Manny Fixing it Right (2011).xml file from Jukebox direcory
(3.5) Added .NFO file Handy Manny Fixing it Right (2011).nfo to "Turn Off Internet Scraping" for this specific .avi file.
(3.6) Updated YAMJ
(3.7) ALL section showed all movies. Also Year 2011 filter worked fine.

Some conclusions:
(1) It would be usefull to update YAMJ code or Playon!HD2 firmware for better file name handling. Best solution would be if YAMJ in ALL movie section showed all movies that are ok and didn't show the ones that have some file name or indexing problems (compared to current situation when YAMJ does not show you any movies in ALL section if atleast one file is problematic). This would help users to identify problem files (e.g. user knowes he copied 100 movies in the device, but ALL section showed only 98 entries).

(2) I can't figure it out why DVD vs TV series example didn't work out first time. Maybe there is some link with year 2011 (in file name) and realease date 2006 that was indexed by YAMJ. Or maybe YAMJ after indexing considered the file as TV series that was not formated as TV series (Handy Manny\Season 1\Handy Manny S01E01.avi) and it confused the device. (I think the issue is more conected with Years as my Year filter didn't work after indexing)

(3) During this process I learned about small and good file rename aplication Fast File Renamer (fastfilerenamer.com) that saved me lots of hours of my work.

Thanks for the detailed reply on your findings. YAMJ's file naming standards have not changed, but with the introduction of the SDK4 based firmware the Jukebox no longer implemented the YAMJ file naming standards correctly, and so the problems you have seen do keep resurfacing, and AC Ryan are aware of them. As yet I have no details on when a fix for this problem will be released.
I'll make sure the YAMJ wikiis updated to explicity include the " ' " and & characters in the exclusions.
