Unfortunately with the suggested solution the opposite happens: default UPnP server is set on "OFF" and can not even be set to " ON".
When you are using the script you're bypassing the menu and therefore not updating the menu.
The process is probably running and can not be reactivated.
You can check from the PlayonHD2 to see if the server is running
Goto FilesManger ->Upnp ->PlayonHD2
If the sever is running the PlayonHD2 should be visible and any other Upnp servers that are on the network.
For the playonHD2 you should see PC Directory ->media-> HDD or Card or USB
If above is working it should be visible on the iPhone
For the iPhone you can also install Imedia from Sitecom(Free app) and check if the Upnp is recognized there , else reinstall the BuzzApp
Next to that the BUZZ App (a media player) on my iPhone is asking for a logincode and password when I am trying the enter the SAMBA Server of the PlayonHD2.
Can you login as guest, otherwise try using root no password
