Post The Kingdom,The Wild Bunch Problems
I am using the latest firmware and Yamj build 2.6 snapshot and have put over 500 into the jukebox on 7 different Hdds.My player i forgot to say is Mini HD2.
Of all the movies these are the only 2 which have given me real problems,the poster in The Kingdom reads in spanish and the Wild Bunch in french. I am not up on computer speak so be gentle as i have no idea about replacing posters,going into files etc.
I should have said i am looking for the english posters. Cheers

Hi Charlie
Have you done any customisation of YAMJ at all, using a moviejukebox.properties file, and are you using .nfo files to point YAMJ to the correct movie data on the internet, or relying on YAMJ parsing the file names?
Andy

Post Re: The Kingdom,The Wild Bunch Problems
The only thing i have done is checked the tt numbers in imbd and they appear to be the right ones.
As for nfo files i don't have the foggiest idea what they are and how to get them, i did say i had no idea!.
As for properties i take it is in the jukebox folder in the program files not that it helps me in any way.
Could you please tell me how to get the correct posters in english .Thanks

Hi Charlie62
The contents of a moviejukebox.properties file are below: -
Code:
# Playon Specific Parameters
mjb.PlayOnHD=true

## IMDb plugin parameters
#

# Specifies the search engine to use to search for IMDb IDs
# Valid values are: imdb, google, yahoo, none
imdb.id.search=imdb

# Specifies the IMDb site to use
# Valid values are : us, fr, es, de, it, pt
imdb.site=us

# Get all available information from the "combined" imdb page rather than the more limited "standard" page
imdb.full.info=false

# Don't get certification from MPAA
imdb.getCertificationFromMPAA=false

# Set preferred country for certification ratings
imdb.preferredCountry=UK

#Set ratings source
mjb.rating.source=imdb,rottentomatoes,average

##TheTVDB plugin parameters
thetvdb.language=en

##Poster Scanner Search order
poster.scanner.SearchPriority.movie=imdb,themoviedb,impawards,motechnet,moviecovers,google,yahoo
poster.scanner.SearchPriority.tv=thetvdb,cdon,filmaffinity

This should set everything to english and enable the AC Ryan specific features and fixes.
There is an excellent YAMJ Wiki here
See the pages on AC Ryan Information including limitations on file naming, and on .nfo files.
In it's simplest form an .nfo file has one line of text in it - the film url on IMDB

I looked in the moviejukebox. propertiies file and mine didn't have a fraction of material in it that the
one you illustrated had. As i said i no nothing about files and naming,changing inside folders or outside for that matter. I will just have to accept my limitations(really frustrating over 550 movies over 7 hdd's and 2 files show the correct movies in the wrong language)ah well thanks for the help but you were really up against with me. thanks
p.s. have to stop now or will go madder than i already am.

I did everything you said to do but the only change is that Payback's poster is now wrong as well.
So you can take it that it didn't work LOL. In actual fact one of my friends is in IT and it was he
who changed the settings so i don't feel too bad.
But thats me finished,the movies still play only the 3 posters are wrong. Thanks for all your help
Andy !

If you really want to force a fix here, go onto themoviedb.org, locate the correct poster and save it in the same directory as the movie file, name it exactly the same as the movie file except for the jpg extension and then rerun YAMJ.

Should fix it....
