Hi Yes the you have the link to r2925 correct. Versions above r2925 should work OK. I recommend starting any checks you do at r2925 as I currently use it and it is stable and working for me I will be testing a later version as soon as I have time Let me know hoe it goes Andy

 Re: MovieJukebox 2.5.1 Released
I was successful, - used the r2938 version - major fault: the properties file had the mjb.PlayOn=true statement, but was in the wrong directory. - some file names still too long.
Now all works excellent. Thanks for your time.!

 Re: MovieJukebox 2.5.1 Released
Some tips to handle situations that I overcame: - In one occasion I seemed to have successfully generated a jukebox on a NAS. However when opening the index file on the playon it gave me a "Read only. Need write permission" message. In this case the jukebox index and directory actually were stored one level deeper in the directory structure than before, which was odd. I resolved by re generating the jukebox from the same location but now with a movie file in the main directory, where before this main directory only had sub directories - If you open the jukebox on the playon and you browse movies, and then select one to play: if the playon mentions "movie not found" the filename of the movie was too long. - If the playon crashes upon selecting the index.htm file, it may be the case that the mjb.Playon=true setting was not used properly (either by not setting, or by having the movie.properties file in the wrong location). - if the movie collection is too large, google will start refusing to handle the lookups after say a hunderd movies. In this case use an NFO file with the imdb link. - Now I still need to find a way to also use ratings (now all my movies are "ALL", and if possible more granularity in year).

 Re: MovieJukebox 2.5.1 Released
Hi dewadden The ratings menu in the new firmware does not work with all versions of YAMJ from V2.5.1 upwards. We've managed to identify and fix problems which were causing all of the dropdown menus to be blank or 'ALL', but the ratings menu issue is waiting for information from AC Ryan Andy

 Re: MovieJukebox 2.5.1 Released
Hi Andy, ACRyan,
Here is an interesting one. Over the past couple of days I had successfully completed my jukebox to include all my mkv's. Now I started adding my sd video's, the ones in DVD VIDEO_TS folder format. At first I just added a couple, to check if my .nfo files were correct.
Everything loaded fine on the mini 1. However once the jukebox was loaded on the mini1, when I had selected a dvd and pressed enter on the remote to actually play it made the mini 1 crash and reboot every single time. What I did notice just before the crash is that the notification of the "NetwerkSnelheid" (Networkspeed) at the top, reported 0B/sec in a flashing way (once for every VOB file maybe? hard to tell?) just before crashing. (Note that the jukebox is on a NAS).
The workaround I happened to find is: to locate and play a regular AVI (this case a sd format AVI) in the jukebox first, then stop it after a second or so, then return to the dvd and then again select to play the DVD. Now the Network speed does report a proper value (like 42281KBps, a nice high enouh value) and the DVD plays successfully. This seems to be an ACRyan bug. I am running the latest 7317 fw, and implemented a swap file on usb flash disk (I just followed the other threads on this).
Is this known behavior? A way to not having to use the workaround?
Also what is the maximum jukebox size (in # of movies) that the ACRryan will accept without crashing?
Regards Dewaddem

 Re: MovieJukebox 2.5.1 Released
Hi dewadden First of all do you have the property mjb.PlayonHD=true set in your moviejukebox.properties file? This is necessary for the AC Ryan players - incliding for handling Video_ts folder format. If you have set this property, I've not seen it or had a report of it before, so if you can send me more info on your YAMJ configuration and the movie I'll see if I can reproduce the fault Also there seems to a limit of around 1000 items in the Jukebox - this is an AC Ryan limit, not a YAMJ limit, but I've not see manyone report it on the SDK4 firmware yet, although it was a reported issue on the SDK3 Jukebox. Andy

 Re: MovieJukebox 2.5.1 Released
Hi Andy,
Yes the properties have been set to mjb.PlayonHD=true set the moviejukebox.properties file. Note that I am able to produce good jukeboxes before. Without the mjb setting the mini1 always crashes. Now it only crashes when playing (not when browsing through the jukebox) a DVD format. Which is resoved if I shortly play (also through the jukebox) a regular avi file. I'll try some more, and if not successful I'll send you some files.

 Re: MovieJukebox 2.5.1 Released
Issue with YAMJ: so far everything is ok now on the ACryan (apart from the bug that I need to first play an AVI before I can play a VIDEO_TS DVD, see above). This new issue is actually not ACRyan related: it happens when generating the jukebox tree on the PC. I happened to own a movie called M ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0022100/). The mkv is called "M.mkv", the nfo file "M.nfo". I do not exactly know what happened, and when it started, but all of a sudden, when I corrected some nfo files also starting with M, like Mission Impossible (which are all in located in a subfolder called M), the YAMJ tool started using the "M.nfo" file for all movies starting with M in the M folder. Which of course creates jukebox with wrong data. Simple workaround is to rename the M.mkv and M.nfo into something longer and regenerate the jukebox. Just wanted to let you know. Used r294x (I believe 2946, need to check). Thanks and keep up the good work. Regards DeWadden
