Let me reiterate my point again - these high bitrate files have nothing to do with hardware support - my mini1 could play ANYTHING i throw at it. the mini2 just screws up big time.

I also encounter NEW PROBLEMS. Sometimes, videos would just play WITHOUT SOUND and the only way i can get it back is to restart the whole damned player.
PLEASE do something, for goodness' sake. AcRyan - please respond. Few months ago you promised to swop my mini2 for a mini1 ( i willingly downgrade! ) and till today i have not received a response from you! terrible support. Hi savvyguy, First of all we are really sorry for any inconvenience. It comes to our attention that you wanted to change your Mini2 to Mini1? We would like to let you know that what you wanted is really possible and we can do that for you, the only thing we worried about is that it might also show you the same result. But we are also not sure, unless we can test the same video you have. Before, we ask a sample video from you but you suggested to download from canon the sample video and below is what we have found. The video sample claims to be from Canon 550D, the only thing we noticed is that the format and codec is appearing to be different compared from the video information you took from your 550D. The sample video we downloaded also do not play smoothly for both Mini1 and Mini2. If you're loacally from Singapore, please do send us or let us know where to download the sample video that is working on Mini1 for us to test. Re: [Official] Firmware_Playon!HD Mini2_PV73800_v9.5.5.r7317 The only problem I really have is that a shut down (power down) of the player does not fully disconnect HDMI. The HDMI signal keeps active. This way my automatic HDMI switch does not switch to the previous connection.
