But the Xmx number wants 1Gb (1024Mb)
Try dropping the Xms number to 128 or even 64 and lowering the Xmx number to 768 or 512

Re: installing and generating YAMJ index on DEBIAN plug comp Try setting the property "mjb.showMemory=true" in the properties file or running with the -memory switch.
That will force a stricter memory management routine on java, but it won't necessarily solve the memory freezing issue.
At the moment, YAMJ does all of it's work in memory, so the more movies you have the more memory is needed.
