Yesterday I installed the new firmware, it is the same gui from some earlier beta version, it is a nice GUI, I like it, no chash yeat. a little bit faster then the beta vesion, but it is still too slow! Looks like running win7 on a very slow computer. Can't you make it faster?

Does this firmware version support DLNA by allowing use of the "play to" option from Win7?

Yes, it does, as is mentioned in the change logs of the firmware. Look here for details, which you could have easily found yourself.

After installing new Firmware r7317 Shortcuts (to my Synology NAS) only works with original name. Renaming the shortcuts (with Confirm-button) will lead to reboot when executing the renamend shortcuts, everytime on every shortcut. Changing renamed Shortcuts to original name works fine!
Furthermore system hangs on several occasions on exiting videofiles, can only reboot by unplug powercord.

Regarding the slowness of the player, we are continuously trying to improve it. If your unit hang, please note that pressing the button to fast might be also the cause of it.

Like any normal person, I press the button again (have I missed something?). It is very annoying that a company than states that I press buttons too fast. The customer is always wrong...
