Post problem 3d movies AC Ryan + LG 3d TV
Hi,
I have problem playing 3D movies (half SBS) with AC Ryan HD mini2.
I have 3d tv LG 42LW4500 LED TV
I've updated firmware to v9.5.5.r7317, but it didn't solve the problem.

There are two pictures of the same movie next to each other and I can't choose the option "side-by-side" on my TV
Can anybody help me?

Is the SBS option greyed out? On my LG DM2350D if I try to go into SBS mode when nothing is playing the option is greyed out, but if I start the movie on the Mini 2, then press the 3D button, SBS mode can be selected and the movie plays fine.

Yes, the SBS option is greyed out hen I play half SBS movies with AC Ryan.
When I play it directly from TV, I can select half SBS option, but have no sound bacause of unsupported audio codec.
That's why I bought AC Ryan, but now I have another problem

Hmmm...... I wonder if it could be to do with your video settings on the Mini 2? I'll list out my settings when I get home and can check my player.

Silly question I know, but you are using HDMI? :)

Just in case it's anything to do with the content you're trying to play, here's the mediainfo from the LG 3D Demo movie that works on mine. Might be worth posting up the MediaInfo from a movie you're trying to play.

Cheers,

Ray Von

Hi,
Yes, I do use the standard HDMI wich was included with Mini2.
I have also the same LG 3d demo movie. I can play it directly on TV, using USB, but I can't play the same movie in 3D with AC Ryan, using HDMI.

Can you check what resolution you've got the Mini 2 set to? Try changing the 1080p setting through the different options - 50/60/Auto and see if that does any good.

I'll list out my settings when I get home.
