I can't recreate the problem myself - I've tried
The new firmware does have some Jukebox fixes in it, so I would recommend trying it, but use r2925 or a later version of YAMJ as there is a fix in to get rid of the dropdown menu problem.

I have the same poblem here. already did a lot the change it but no sollution yet. run latest firmware etc etc

also it seems that when i am updating trough my YAMj Gui2.0 the update is executed on the default properties and not by the properties i made

how is this possible?

Don't use the GUI 2.0 to update YAMJ
Delete or rename the lib subdirectory from your YAMJ program directory, download the latest version from Omertron's site and unzip the contents into your YAMJ program directory, overwriting what is there. It won't overwrite your ACR_Library.xml file or your moviejukebox.properties file.
If you suspect the properties file is not being used, please attach it to a reply to this post, and also attach the command file used to call YAMJ and I will take a look for you

i didn't mean i was updating yamj trough the GUI(already have the laterst version) , what i meant was i was scanning my movies on the POHD2 using yamj and my new added properties.

But the scan was made by the default properties.

what am i doing wrong? i have copied the properties to the yamj folder and added the ones i want to it and saved them. is it because the default properties folder is also in the yamj folder?

Can you tell me how they should be used?

The moviejukebox.properties file is simply a text file in the program directory - you can edit it using notepad in Windows
The skins property you have - mjb.skin.dir=./skins/gfb107 - is unnecessary for the AC Ryan players, just stick to the default, and the player uses the Jukebox output to build it's own xml files

This should work and make it search for existing cover art

This is OK, but I have no experience of using tbn files on the AC Ryan players
poster.scanner.coverArtExtensions=jpg,jpeg,gif,bmp,png,tbn

This is not needed as it restates a default

This is OK
thetvdb.language=nl

This is also Ok

i know i can edit it with the wordpad, but when i save it and try to use it the file has gone back to what it was without my things i put in it!

This sounds more like a windows rather than a YAMJ problem. YAMJ does not overwrite moviejukebox.properties when running or when being upgraded. I hope you are only using notepad and not the AC Ryan GUI to edit this file. Is the file flagged as read only in Windows?
You can try creating your own properties file and give it any other name, provided you edit the command file used to call YAMJ to use the -p switch to specify an alternative properties file. Full details of the command syntax are in the Wiki.
