 Re: MovieJukebox 2.5.1 Released

Yes Quote: But why should that happen in the first place?
Because YAMJ dynamically generates the preferences.xsl file from the properties files so that HTML skins have access to the properties Quote: Exactly what .properties files does YAMJ use to create the preferences.xsl file? All of them All the ones in the properties directory, skin.properties and skin-user.properties, plus overlay properties if they exist

 Re: MovieJukebox 2.5.1 Released
I'm happy to say that my previous problem (the mysterious extra <xsl:param name="something funny#"> line added to preferences.xsl) is gone after I updated to the latest SNAPHOT build r2924. I still have no idea what caused the original line to appear. But I don't really care now.

 Re: MovieJukebox 2.5.1 Released
Hi Omertron, ACRyan,
I started with 2.5.1, but got the imdb API error, so I switched to yamj-2.6-SNAPSHOT-r2938-bin. I was able to get my moviecollection indexed allright. Everything worked flawlessly. Used the YAMJ_GUI_Config_ACR to start creating the collection. On the PC in chrome the index.html and all looked fine. Used the standard skin. Note that the movie jukebox is located on a NAS (Netgear ReadyNAS).
My ACRYAN HD mini (1) runs the latest FW 7.4.x.r7317. Opening the jukebox on the ACRYAN (click on the index.html) forces the reboot immediately. Every time. I already implemented the "increase swap space method" mentioned on this forum successfully.
So question is: what can I do to actually start using this YAMJ jukebox correctly on the ACRYAN, so avoid the reboots.
Thanks and Regards dewadden.

 Re: MovieJukebox 2.5.1 Released
Hi A couple of suggestions: - - have you made sure you are sticking to the file naming conventions as per the wiki site here. - have you allowed YAMJ to do a clean rebuild of the jukebox with the new version - i.e. deleted the index file and jukebox directories before running YAMJ Other than that, are you using .iso files? Andy

 Re: MovieJukebox 2.5.1 Released
Hi AndyA
Thanks for replying
Yes: - clean rebuild of jukebox - no iso files, just mkv for HD and VIDEO_TS folders for SD quality video - file names: - no [] - no more than one . - only alphanumerics - not sure what this line exactly means: Keep file names short and as per the wiki as far as possible
I do have to check if: mjb.PlayOnHD=true is set (I assumed the YAMJ GUI Config ACR would take care of it).

@dewadden How big is your jukebox? - how many films / tv series? With the new firmware it's possible you may need additional swap space Andy

 Re: MovieJukebox 2.5.1 Released
Already added additional swap space using a USB stick successfully. Movie jukebox is quite large. However I also tried with a jukebox with just 10 movies, same thing: reboot every single time.

 Re: MovieJukebox 2.5.1 Released
Could you try a clean install and clean build using r2925? I use that with the latest firmware and have no problems at all. Can you also post the contents of your moviejukebox.properties file so I can have a look at it Thanks Andy

 Re: MovieJukebox 2.5.1 Released
I actually reported that I was using yamj-2.6-SNAPSHOT-r2938-bin, so r2938. Should I use r2925 instead (still have to locate this one, I do not seem to be able to find this version, is this one correct: http://mediaplayersite.com/sites/defaul ... 25-bin.zip)? What about the 2944? Not recommended for ACryan? Anyway, I'll play some more tonight.
