yes , but by linux skills not enough to say exactly where to set this. The keyword ist "exports", there you can define the nfs share with options of right settings...

On a Linux System you can check for example the exports file as fred mentioned. Usually this is in /etc/exports. If you can login via telnet to your dreambox you could try 'cat /etc/exports'. This will list the file content and you should see something like '/media/misc *(ro,sync,no_root_squash)' depending of course how the dreambox adds it. Important is the first path '/media/misc' which is what you would add in the NFS Shortcut.

The movies on the dreambox are located under /hdd/movie/...

I provide access via NFS-Server at the Dreambox for all devices at the network.
NFS-Server is running correctly, so from this side is fine.

When I try to access via Playon, again, it brings me "failed".

Have you tried updating the player to the latest firmware? At the moment it's 7317 available here: http://www.acryan.com/downloads/PV73800 ... .r7317.zip

Yes that I did at first and I have to same fw as you mentioned.

Just want to let you know that like by ghost hand it works since friday.
The negative thing is that I do not know what I change in comparison to before that I can logon and can see the entire hard disc in my Playon.
