Post Place markers in videos
Hi!

What I really miss (or cannot find) is an option to mark a spot in a video so that you can easily jump to that the next time you open the video.
Sometimes the devide doesn't ask me if I want to start a video from last play (instead of starting at the begin), this is probably because the device has been switched off since the last time I watched that video? Although I get the impression that it also happens when I didnt even switch it off in between.

Anyway, for situations like these it would be great to be able to set markers. I could simply put a marker at the point I am when I stop watching and then resume there the next time.

Is this possible?

There is a Resume play option in the settings menu. I do not know for the Mini2, but with my Mini resume play works even after a complete power down.
Are you sure you play the video from the same location?

Thanks, I checked the setting (didn't know it existed) but that was already set to on, so that has not been the issue.

I do indeed open the video from the same location each time. However, all my videos are on a NAS (which is always on) in my network. Could it be that the issue is related to the fact that the videos are on a NAS? I used to play from USB before, and then I think I had the problem less often (not 100% sure to be honest).

I do not think it has anything to do with your NAS. I always stream my videos from my server (24/7) and they always resume from where I stopped them (at least when pressing OK in the pop up menu).
A different location can also be another folder on your NAS.

it turned out that in the end, after an update of the Playon's firmware to the latest version that it remembered again perfectly for each file where I stopped last time!
