If I select multiple file to copy to HDD it will stop half way and restart to the main screen.
HELP!!! So far works this works fine with me, I tested with few MKV and AVI files. At first, I did try to copy multiple files and the result was Ok. Moving those same files also went well. I suggest you try to re-flash again the firmware, do a checkdisk for both the player and the external drive, try to change USB cable and lastly try to copy atleast one to two files first for you to monitor whether the file is causing this error. i reflash and it works fine now. thanks.

ROGER how do I check the version of the chips? does not care that it reproduces in HD, you just have to reproduce in 5.1 channels. now plays in stereo by selecting passthrough Tanks

 Re: [Official] Firmware_PV73100_v7.4.x.r7317
I have noticed another bug which i think has been mentioned before.
When pausing your video files for more than a few minutes it seems to lock up the PlayonHD and you a forced to do a hard reboot ie pulling the plug out.
I also noticed this in the last firmware release.
can anyone tell me what the problem is??

 Re: [Official] Firmware_PV73100_v7.4.x.r7317
So I welcome the update; like everyone else I'm waiting for the SAMBA fix. The upgrade was not recognised on my memory stick until I removed everything and added just the image file. I did a safe update. Moving shortcuts to the top of the home menu is a welcome change. However I cannot see or create any shortcuts. When I press menu the display dims momentarily but no pop-up menu for add etc. Perhaps I have a corrupt shortcuts file. Where is the file and how do I create a fresh one?
Many Thanks

Because of do not keep from consumer protection guidelines and arbitrary deletion of contributions is supported to this Support no more. Here I have extinguished the tips, because A.C.Ryan does not earn my Support.
You can thank Arne.

Create come from playon automatic when you make a Favorit. Greeting Steffen Thanks for the reply Steffan, My HDD and USB drives do not have FavLink_HDD or FavLink_USB files. The problem occurs even with no attached USB drives. I dont know where POHD would keep network favourites? I used "telnet playonhd"; "PlayonHD login: root"; "find FavLink_HDD"; the system responds with "find: FavLink_HDD: Unknown error 2" which I assume means file not found. Can you guide me further please?

 Re: [Official] Firmware_PV73100_v7.4.x.r7317
Thanks again Steffan,
Thanks for the info on find. It seems -iname is not valid for POHD. The result with -name seems identical to without -name. However I can confirm I do not have any favourites files, so it is a mystery to me why the GUI won't let me make any. Can anyone confirm the menu button works correctly in theis new release when no favourites exist?

 Re: [Official] Firmware_PV73100_v7.4.x.r7317
Menu button works correctly on my DVR.
Because -name and -iname: -iname is Case insensitive. Otherwise both orders are identical. It can be that the old Busybox (construction year 2006) -iname not knows. I have inserted with myself here another Busybox.
Greeting Steffen
