 NFS-Server Zugriff
Hallo!
How can I access on a NFS-Server with my Playon!HD Mini2, e.g. provided by a Dreambox HD800.
Which access information I need?
Everytime I choose IP and the path I created in the Dreambox I brings me "logon failed".

 Re: NFS-Server Zugriff
goto Files Manager -> NFS -> press 'menu' to add a NFS Client. IP: 192.168.x.x for example Path: /video so if you have shared the /video folder on the dreambox this should be sufficient enough. If you have a Linux System you can for example open a terminal and check how the shares look on your dreambox by entering 'showmount -e 192.168.x.x' Example: Export list for 192.168.x.x: /media/movies * Now i would add /media/movies as NFS share on the playon. Hope this helps. P.S. moved the topic to technical questions br,

 Re: NFS-Server Zugriff
Hi,
thanks for your prompt feedback, but it didn't really helped. So maybe I describe the problem again.
The Dreambox HD 800 provides an NFS access which I active. The IP is 192.168.2.XXX which is fixed in my home network. The folder I've shared on the external HDD at the Dreambox is /media/hdd/movie The preferences I checked in the setup of the Dreambox so this should be fine.
At the Playon I did exactly what you told me:
File Manager -> NFS -> Menu and add NFS Client.
Then I add the above mentioned IP to the settings and add the above mentioned folder in the same way I wrote it hear. Then "OK" and everytime I try to access it still brings me "logon failed".
Whar chances I have to change that, what did I do wrong? Do I have anonther chance to share the folder content on my Playon?
Thanks in advance!

 Re: NFS-Server Zugriff
You need to add / after your path like this /media/hdd/movie/ Br. Nasua

 Re: NFS-Server Zugriff
That I did and I also tried to change the NFS path at the Dreambox, what brings no other result than "Logon Failed".

 Re: NFS-Server Zugriff
If your path is set right, then check your firewall settings on router / modem...

 Re: NFS-Server Zugriff
What can be wring with the settings?
And what if e.g. a PC can access to the path and via NFS without problems?

 Re: NFS-Server Zugriff
Then something must be wrong in your path, did you put a slash after path (/media/hdd/movie/) this is very important for getting playon to connect. Try double checking your path using WinSCP http://winscp.net/download/winscp436.zipBr. Nasua

 Re: NFS-Server Zugriff
Honestly I tried both, with and without "/" and I tried also to change the shared path at the Dreambox HD800 completely, e.g. just "/movie/" Nothing changed, always "Logon Failed".
