Mini2 with optical-audio, how to get it working
Hi,
i wan't to connect my mini2 with an optical cable to my audio-set. After connecting it all, no sound. Switching audiosettings, LPCM/Passthrough, rebooting, whatever: no-sound.
Anybody here who got this working properly and can give me the golden advice?

@ bweefting
Can you check if you're amp is properly switch to use SPDIF? As sometimes me myself also commit mistake as the amp we are using have three SPDIF input. You can also let us know what type of audio format you're trying to play.

Re: Mini2 with optical-audio, how to get it working
I'm having the same problem. Want to connect my mini2 to a philips HTS through toslink, but that didn't work. Also tried to connect a sony DVR, also no luck.
As since the cable is putting out a signal, and coax does work from the DVR to the HTS, i'd decided to contact philips tech-support, due to a faulty optical port. Set was picked up last wednesday, and still waiting to come back from repair. Hopefully this will clear the issue out, because otherwise i can't think of any other solution.
