 Re: [Official] Firmware_Playon!HD2_PV73700_v9.5.3.r7317
Dear RyanStaff! I have similar issue with my Harman Kardon AVR-460 AV receiver, I connect the HD2 via HDMI 1.4 cable ( very very expensive one ), and DTS HD MA audio streams are muted after change between audio streams. Sometimes simply doesnt start the DTSHDMA stream, and during FLAC 2ch music playing it has "no sound breaks", when the AV Receiver says "NO AUDIO", and after it the sound comes back. These are 1-1,5 sec breaks, what is really annoying during listening music. I think too it is HDMI handshaking issue. Is that possible to do something against this? Thank you so much your kind help! Andrew cornhuelio wrote: The audio with 7317 is bad, it still has no audio if I swap between two different audio formats!
Music video with MP3, then it plays a music video with DD2.0 sound I get no sound, and it's the HD2 not the Marantz 7005 have tried it on my Onkyo 1008, a HDMI handshake issue!
Fix the menu please nothing really works!

best regrards, danny
/ # ls -l | grep opt lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 18 Jan 18 08:54 opt -> /usr/local/etc/opt There is no dir opt in /usr/local/etc so create dir opt in /usr/local/etc and you are all set jr_mac_ryan

Right one major problem is this: When scrolling through the movies folder on my hdd, after scrolling down around 2-3 times, the pictures/icons for the movies start to display incorrectly, and you get a bunch of funny lines/colours appearing at the top of the screen. Entering a folder and returning back to the same screen takes away the colour/lines from the screen, but it goes the same again as soon as you scroll down a few times.

Installed version v9.5.3.r7317 this afternoon. After setting it up everything is looking good. Even de font from the subtitles is displayed at a seemingly higher resolution, so kudos for that.
The only problem I came across is a very weird one; I can't power the unit down?! Everytime I choose to power it off, the white led dims all the way to dark and normally the red led should turn on. But now, when the white led dims to dark, it goes back on! No mather what options I have set in the settings menu. Solutions anyone?

But this is what I find what happens. Since updating to the latest firmware the other night as I've been having trouble with Subtitles, this latest firmware has fixed the subtitles being turned off after each time I've turned the unit off. But now I've got the problem of Movie covers all being the same and when I scroll through any pictures, they seem to keep on displaying the wrong pictures and I get loads of lines at the top of the screen. Its like we've returned to a beta version of the firmwares. I have to now look through my movies via the listings and not by covers. Its actually made my HD2 worse !!

axelaf wrote: Hi,
I have still the reboot while reprocessing the YAMJ-files on the Playon!HD2 with this new firmware. About 85% of the 430 movies are processed and the menu is partly generated, but the box reboots after a while - probably with some dead files as with the last beta firmware (as I have reported in that thread).
What I have done: I have removed all YAMJ files from a previous run, including the index.htm. I have used moviejukebox 2.5.1, the MediaInfo v0.7.52 and the 'yamj gui acr v2.0' for generating the new YAMJ-files on the box. This works fine with my Windows XP. The reboot happens while trying to reprocess the YAMJ data on the box, which is necessary, because otherwise you will see nothing.
I have to wait for the next fimware and hope it will be fixed then. This feature is not usable for me so far (and that is very bad).
Axel I have found a core dump on my hs, which is hopefully helpful to fix the described problem. To whom I could sent it? (I don't want to attach it public). Axel Edited by staff: Check PM.

Could you safe-flash the same firmware again to see if this would still be present? From both remote control and the power button. If so, please contact me. Br,

@ Everyone,
When using 'Thumbnail view' and then browsing first down, and then going back up in navigation, you will see a distorted picture / GUI. This is unfortunately present in all our platforms for this r.7317 firmware. This is a reproduce able bug, and has been reported.

many thanks Hello, We currently are not able to pinpoint this issue, and this currently seems to be related to certain .mp3 files in combination with the structure that you use. If you want try, you can try to remove your .mp3 files, and if you are not having this reboot loop after this? Just to confirm. This has been reported to our developers and they are trying to pinpoint the cause. This is a bit tricky at this point, not everyone will get this. Br,
