I had also problems . i deleted the .theater file on my hdd and rescan the hard drive. and reboot it 2 times now it works great.

my problem is i have now gone back to 5540 and the reboot loop has gone!! so wondering if ACR can explain this? is it not able to read the DB created on the older firmware? although this did work in a window where i got out of the reboot loop on 7317 for a few minutes! but went back into the loop thereafter?

i guess it might be worth a go???

The audio with 7317 is bad, it still has no audio if I swap between two different audio formats!

Music video with MP3, then it plays a music video with DD2.0 sound I get no sound, and it's the HD2 not the Marantz 7005 have tried it on my Onkyo 1008, a HDMI handshake issue!

Fix the menu please nothing really works!

Nevermind i upgraded and so far so good. Can transfer from usb stick to hdd in the options without rebooting now, and subtitle fix is in place.

Perhaps I misunderstand, but r7317 with Playon!HD2 has only Transmission and you can't use Bittorrent.

If this is not the case for you, please let us know.

I have still the reboot while reprocessing the YAMJ-files on the Playon!HD2 with this new firmware. About 85% of the 430 movies are processed and the menu is partly generated, but the box reboots after a while - probably with some dead files as with the last beta firmware (as I have reported in that thread).

What I have done:
I have removed all YAMJ files from a previous run, including the index.htm.
I have used moviejukebox 2.5.1, the MediaInfo v0.7.52 and the 'yamj gui acr v2.0' for generating the new YAMJ-files on the box. This works fine with my Windows XP.
The reboot happens while trying to reprocess the YAMJ data on the box, which is necessary, because otherwise you will see nothing.

I have to wait for the next fimware and hope it will be fixed then. This feature is not usable for me so far (and that is very bad).

Ok i like this firmware so far . the telnet is back thank you i like this. But what i mis ferry much is the /opt . to develop some nice stuf. the is an option te bring that back in the .img file but so much work to do it maby you can regererad that back in the .img file to that we can work on some developments to the playon.
