This is a known bug and was not resolved yet.

The samba module works on the mini1 and hd1 but crashes sometimes.

But you should be able to connect to your pc <-> Mini if the samba is enabled.

A have tested differnet versions of YAMJ, no success. Sometimes i see the Jukebox, sometimes reboots, Sometime freezes.

What i have done: (as suggested in a othere thread)
1. install yamj 2.0 installer from our homepage
2. remove the /lib and /properties frolder from the installation dir on your hdd
3. get the newest yamj update see this post: YAMJ 2.5.1
4. afterwards create a new jukebox and re-check

I am the only one, who have problems with YAMJ ?

Remove the jukebox dir and index.htm on the hdd of the player

Remove the yamj installation on your pc (als the folder on the hdd)

Reinstall the Yamj package from Ac Ryan

How would one properly play 5.1 AAC audio from video's? 5.1 AC3 play's fine using audio hdmi in "passthrough".

AAC 5.1 on the other hand doesn't play fine in LPCM multichannel.. Left Rear is on both front and rear left. and Right rear is on both front and rear right. Bass channel doesn't play.. Any suggestions?

I cannot update my interface with the normal flashing procedure.

After one minute it display that there is no new firmware on the USB Drive ???? (My current Firmware is v7.4.6.r5440_European)

It's strange because I always use this method without any problems.

What's happens??

Tried the new firmware. It definitely feels faster even when just browsing the menus. So far a lot of hangs from r5440 seem to be cured (it didn't happen that frequent, maybe it's a matter of time), subtitles seem to work as advertised. I no longer have the will to try YAMJ.
1080p is definitely faster. I no longer start having sutters after engaging the GUI while playing the movie.
I still have problems with 1080p content that is "full screen". That is not anamorphic or anything but full 1920x1080 res. Start stuttering in places. These movies are rare though.
From time to time my external disk drive disconnects and reconnects. I use an WD drive in an ICYBOX enclosure. This NEVER happened under r4824 or older and started happening A LOT under r5440. This happened both while playing the movie and while the movie was paused, came back and found the device in the main menu.

In the past (sdk3) when playing series and stoping after watching several episodes it used to move the focus of the interface to the last file that was playing. It was logical, useful and I miss that.

Anyone with more suggestions for my WiFi problems? It's kinda annoying the playon doesn't come with decent error messages. "Tests failed" is not sufficient

The *.mov movie file shot by canon still sluggish after more than 10 seconds of playing..Cannot understand why the very old firmware can play this format well but not the newer one. I have waited more than 3 official firmware update. If this is really the problem due to SDK problem as claimed by ACRyan, then a group of us will have to switch camp to sigma chipset.
