 Re: NTFS filesystem problems
thanks for the feedback and efforts.
As mentioned in other posts we have forwarded this to our development team to have a look at this once again. Until than please try to use your player as stable as possible and avoid power loss, reboots, crashes, network connection drops and everything that could possibly cause data corruption. Mostly those issues appear after the player was shutdown not correctly or crashed or was just disconnected from the network while copying. After you experience problems you can always use chkdsk in windows to test your hdd.
thanks again & best regards,

 Re: NTFS filesystem problems
I agree with Steffen. Stop with the supposed help, because it isn't any. At one point you say there are hardly any people experiencing 0 byte files and other problems, now you seem to know the cause for most of these cases. Have users told you this? Player was not shutdown correctly?!? Any other way than power off? You can hardly blame the user for a crashing player or network failure. This is the third time staff members have commented without doing their homework, just use the script and see what happens. But please stop coming up with VERY lame excuses. The firmware is buggy, just admit it, give Steffen a player for his efforts (maybe not a Mini1) and boast that you're the first Realtek player to get rid of the bug. Could be done within a week. All in favor say aye!

 Re: NTFS filesystem problems
Hi again!
as already mentioned previously - we have forwarded this to our development team once again. This is all we can do for now while we wait for an answer about the evaluation of this problem. Also please stick to the forum rules to avoid warnings or your posts being edited/deleted. We do understand that you might be angry to some point but there is a limit and we all should still be able to have a normal discussion. Of course we aware that not everybody can understand how development goes and how it works but we can assure you that we do our best to investigate this issue. As soon as we have more information we will let you know. Until than this topic will be closed.
thanks for your understanding & best regards,
