Because of do not keep from consumer protection guidelines and arbitrary deletion of contributions is supported to this Support no more.
Here I have extinguished the tips, because A.C.Ryan does not earn my Support.

You can thank Arne.

ok now at r4824.

One issue - it's not seeing the internal 2GB hard disk anymore. Format HDD option doesnt even see it.

Connecting to unit via USB with PC see's all the data on the internal disk ok.

Anyone seen this ? Please dont say upgrade firmware :-(

I have a problem with recording. The disk is seen in the system but when I see the loading of icona could not find the drive after restart standeth it's cool. this will ever happen, not in use long after PVR. Screensaver is set to 15 minutes.

Fixed issue myself. Reflashed FW using safe method and disk now detected. Formatted now and all good so far.

GUI is quick and smooth, EPG is good, no crashing yet. I'm amazed at how much has been removed from GUI 2.0 without good reason. GUI 1.0 is soooo much better.

The ongoing quest for a stable/functional FW my personal summary :

5440 NTFS issues causing frequent reboots/corruption
4824 Stable & fast GUI 1.0 but scheduled recording bugs
3966 No EPG
3582 Tool old for my hardware
4585 Trying now looks ok so far (EPG, scheduling, no crashes yet)

I don't need much - just watch TV, have a basic EPG and scheduled recording, play media, no crashes. That's all.

Isn't that what we all want Pil71! looks like we'll all have to go back to the old firmware if we want basic functionality...

Im still stupidly holding onto the last glimmer of hope that the new firmware will be released after chinese new year (aka about now!)... Please AC Ryan, give the community some good news!!

Dear all,
Have U noticed that we are still discussing how to try to solve something what is not working or fault? This should be a job for AC Ryan to finally sort it up with new (what is new anymore?) FW.

Does anybody have any real info about FW?
Or clue?

Brgrds
