I'm just using my Playon!HD2 Jukebox (currently) for local movies on the internal 2TB HD with YAMJ (2.0). With this firmware the SET and series were working - except that only a maximum of 10 movies are allowed per SET (scrolling inside the SET is not possible, like on the Windows browser).

Unfortunately after adding some new videos the update of the internal YAMJ (the option after clicking on the index.htm in the Playon!HD2 Jukebox menu) leads to a reboot of the Playon!HD2 and YAMJ/Jukebox is not usable anymore. (The generated YAMJ 2.0 data on the Windows XP PC are OK!)
I have already deleted the Jukebox folder and the index.htm and generated complete new YAMJ data, but the bug is still there.
Any experiences with this problem?

Also I'm missing the generated episode names for series and the correct episode numbers on the Playon!HD2 YAMJ menu.

Hi, can you please try upgrading your jukebox to the newest version as some things have been fixed there see this post: viewtopic.php?f=95&t=16824
The reboot issue should be fixed together with the newest mini2 beta.

Can somebody please tell me if transferring files from USB memory stick to the internal HDD still causes the system to reboot loop?

This is one flaw thats really getting on my nerves lately as its so handy to be able to just use the usb stick for files, as my pc is a desktop and is in completely another room. So currently transferring stuff is a real pain.

thanks for the hint. I should have been more prescise.
With ' YAMJ (2.0)' I mean the YAMJ version provided by A.C.Ryan on their support page. It contains the moviejukebox 2.4, the MediaInfo v0.7.47 and the 'yamj gui acr v2.0 '.
If I look at the results with a windows browser (IE8), I have no problems with
a) SET containing more then 10 videos (switch between pages is possible)
b) Episode titles in series (probably implemented with Java Script)
c) Episode numbers and ranges.
On the Playon!HD2:
a) You cannot use SET with more then 10 videos (video 11 and above are not accessable)
b) Episode titles are not shown
c) Episode numbers are not correct - only the files are numbered from 1 to x, but there is no relation between the episode numbers and ranges given in the filenames.

I have now used moviejukebox 2.5.1, the MediaInfo v0.7.52 and the 'yamj gui acr v2.0 ' and I have still the problem of reboot of the Playon!HD2 when I try to update the Movie Jukebox data on the box.
I don't know, how the mini2 beta should help me and hope for a solution on the next beta or release of the Playon!HD2 firmware.

Still happens on occasional basis. We have now an internal test version were we have been unable to reproduce this so far. So we are optimistic that this can be resolved in a next update. Keep an eye out on our firmware section!


Have you completely removed the previous jukebox installation and also physically deleted the remaining folder on the HDD ?
By updating to latest beta with the newest jukebox together this reboot issue should be fixed so please recheck it and eventually remove and 'clean' reinstall the jukebox. Thanks.

I have completely deleted index.htm and the Jukebox folder on the internal HD. Some files were corrupted, probably caused by the reboot. These were some Title_N|M|P|O.html files (or .xml - I cannot remember). I had to repair the HD thru the Windows tools.
After that I used a complete clean and new mediajukebox 2.5.1 and MediaInfo 0.7.52 for generating the new Jukebox (with german imdb and thetvdb and playonhd switch enabled). I used it first on a smaller folder (only Comedy) and then on the complete rest (1,3 TB) which worked fine with these Windows tools for both and I have checked it with the Windows Explorer.
I could generate the Jukebox on the Playon!HD2 for the smaller part (Comedy). But when I try to generate it for the rest - it rebooted (after a while of processing the data).
I have no idea, how to get any log-file or how to check, if a certain pre-produced file causes the reboot. Probably I have to wait for the next firmware, and I hope it will come soon.

Hi, i am wondering if anybody has the similar?
when switching to the next movie audio is lost, i have to restart or (re)unplug the hdmi to get audo back.
after pauze i press play and subs are gone, every time again . . .
menu is so slooooow and updates get fewer and fewer, i am not happy @ all!

This is a known bug.

Im now testing a new internal version and it seems to be resolved.

Does anybody know when the new firmware will become available, are we talking about days, weeks or months?
