Of firmware for products rather than continually releases new flawed products? All these
Awards that are won will soon be discredited as customers migrate over to more reliable
Products. I personally like my HD2 player and have been waiting patiently since the release
Of f/w r5440 for an improved version, yet the latest Beta release had noticeable flaws upon
Flashing the unit and subsequently trashed 1GB of data.
I myself have defended AC Ryan in the past but when products and firmware releases are
Continuously released with flaws it is hard for me to continue defending them.

I am using 1000 which is gigabit, the fastest. Hi my friend , Mine is connected with D link ADSL router /modem i.e 10/100 mbps I connected Lan to Ryan and usb to Pc on Same router . All I need to Know is what is actual speed of the POHD2

BR Yesterday I found out why there are problems with the HDD. If I take a longer USB 3.0 cabel as delivered Windows will not accept the HDD as free of faulds. I am using a smal cable for USB 3.0, the worst thing that happens is a checkdisk from WIN 7, nomore asking for format the disk, but checkdisk seems to be a must, when connecting to USB 3.0. I hope that the new software will take this problem. Other Multimediaplayer don't have a USB 3.0 connection (more than 1 GB datas to be updated with backup latest monthly), so I live with this compromise hoping to get a better Software a.s.a.p. BR:

Re: [Beta] Firmware_Playon!HD2_PV73700_v9.5.3.r6629 It is hard for customers to understand that for example in a new firmware the subtitle issues are fixed and a complete new bug is introduced like the scrambled display when browsing content. It seems like you tried to introduce new gfx drivers so the user experiences a snappier player but it failed to do so.
What I don't understand is why did AC Ryan did not found those issues? If you browse your content it will show up immediately!
Some posts back I read that there were 8 or so firmware updates in a year. To give you an example the Mede8er had 2 updates a month! They seem to fix the issues faster while having the same "closed" SDK.
I am happy with the player when the screen glitches are fixed.

Can we add as an option in the settings to be able to copy/replace option.
Reason being, I sometimes upgrade versions to higher quality or perhaps forget I have already copied a file to my HDD already and it creates a "_1" extension to the name for every additional copy.
Is it possible to add the setting to allow it to recognise there is a file of the same name already on the HDD and ask to either replace or keep both copies?

Come on chaps the HD2 needs fixing aswell............. Hello, We have a internal test version that we are currently testing. So this is on it's way! We noticed some minor things that will need some updates, another revision is expected very soon, and then we will know more if this firmware will be around the corner or if it needs more work. Re: [Beta] Firmware_Playon!HD2_PV73700_v9.5.3.r6629 I installed it and the sub bug is still not working proper, i can't turn subs of when a movie is playing.
Browsing folders gives stripes on the screen.
NAS funktion is working proper now.
I hope the final release will be better, but still where going the right way, to bad it's taking a bit long.
