Do you have a release date for the playon dvr hd2?!? Waiting since months on it! When I should believe the youtube video, it should be in the next weeks! Is this correct?

Hello,

AC Ryan recently released the Veolo which you find on our homepage / products section.

We have no information or knowledge regarding any future product releases, and I personally never heard of the name 'Playon DVR HD2'. If you have any source of this rumor (youtube?) feel free to share this with us.

Thanks for the link!

I still did not know why we called the 'Playon!DVR-HD2'. Either way, the DVR models that were displayed during Cebit with different tuners for every region was a concept that never hit the stores, and we never even got a prototype to test. Perhaps our developers did, not sure, but not the rest of our company.

I'm not sure of the real reason for the cancellation of this product, but it got replaced by the VEOLO during the development stage and was canceled.

Without knowledge about hardware details of the box. Maybe some ACRyan decision makers found out that the Realtek support for his chipsets is more as insufficient and cancel the box. The only way to avoid a new disaster how with the actual box. Sadly in veolo the tuner was forgotten. But the ARM Cortex-A9 CPU is the right way.
