when i downgrade my FW , its the same way as usual? IMG on USB Stick and updating via interface?

yeah i know its about UPgrading.... ive never did a downgrade before ^^ thats why i am asking.

Use the safe mofe to downgrade - exactly the same method as upgrading. Firmware on a USB stick, and hold the front button in for 10 secs, don't use the menu option.

Hi everyone, im a newby to the ACRYAN PHD2 but fairly well sorted on a pc....but for the life of me i cant install this upgrade.

I did a clean install of AC Ryan YAMJ software (vers 2.0)

I deleted the skins folder and library folder , then extracted the 2.5.1 upgrade over the install directory. (choosing overwrite existing files)

The problem i have is when i start YAMJ it starts up as V2.0 still, and the usual reboots on the PHD2.

I have tried the upgrade on both the 64bit (on win7 64) and the 32 bit versions..

Any help would be appreciated as the jukebox keeps on rebooting when trying to load.
I have also upgraded the unit with the BETA firmware..

Where does it say you are on v2.0?

If you open the moviejukebox.log file that is created, it should tell you the revision and version that you are running near the top of the file.

It says version 2.0 when the loading window comes up and also in the header of the AC Ryan YAMJ main window.
