Why can I not open the playonhd wifi url on my ipad?

 Why can I not open the playonhd wifi url on my ipad? Hi,
Somehow I can not open the wifi 192.168.x.xxx link on my ipad? Safari keeps giving me an error, can not open page. On my desktop PC the url works fine.
I want to browse my playonhd on my ipad.
Anyone got some tips please?

Re: Why can I not open the playonhd wifi url on my ipad? Are you sure that your iPad is a member of the same network as your Playon? You did not omit the port number (:1024 for the remote control emulation or :9091 for Transmission), did you?

Re: Why can I not open the playonhd wifi url on my ipad? I just checked to be certain. On my iPad with iOS5 typing 192.168.178.3:1024 in Safari immediately opens the emulated remote control of my Mini. I remember this also worked with iOS 4 and the previous version of Safari.
Typing 192.168.178.3:9091 makes no sense, because the Mini does not support Transmission.
Not being an iPad or Apple expert, I am afraid I cannot help your further.

Re: Why can I not open the playonhd wifi url on my ipad? If you mean that you want to browse the files on your Playon with your iPad, I am afraid that is impossible. Safari is an internet browser like Internet Explorer and not a file manager like Windows Explorer.

Also Playlist don't work.
