Hi Steffen - it would be great if you could post instructions (I see that dasjournal will translate!). I could never see the point in having an NTFS filesystem on a linux box, except for that USB slave "feature" which allowed you to plug in a laptop and treat the internal HDD as a drive on Windows. ACRyan were not helpful in supporting an ext3 or etx4 partition for our media files in place of the NTFS. I suspect there are many functions "hard-wired" in the code which expect the NTFS partition to be present. I too, have had several issues where files have become corrupted - typically DVD ISO files which change from being GBs in length to being zero bytes! As such I could not trust the filesystem to safely store my video and audio collection, so I have been waiting for firmware stability improvements. At this point I have lost my faith in the firmware - whether it is due to Realtek SDK issues or poor programming standards. I have sourced an MSI AMD Fusion mini-ITX motherboard and mini case in the past couple of days and have loaded OpenElec XBMC firmware on it. With a USB DVB-T tuner I now have a working PVR with decent EPG information and flexible recording and most of all have a proper indexing capability for audio and video files with excellent support for FLAC image files, tagging information works properly. There are a couple of minor issues with Dolby true HD and DTS HD bitstream but there is an active support team in xbmc working on these - no Realtek SDK here! I can certainly re-use the 2TB HDD from the ACRyan and possibly the tuner (if it's PCI-e).

Nobody even bothers to read this (unpleasant) topic...

I hope acryan fix their bug as responsive as banning me and delete my post within 6 hours ( after i warn peoples not to install this firmware after i lost 6 of my iso file ) .
yet . I'd like to suggest the following to acyran
Make a poll regarding gui1 vs gui2 Make a poll from customer's complain ( sure helpful for acryan understand which bug need to pay more attention )
I recheck this post 3 times already to make sure if any reason offend to acryan or reason to ban me again for suggestion without spamming this time .
Godbless
