Post Re: Unable to Detect PlayOnHD2 NAS on Win 7 64 bits
The Addresses are assigned by the router itself.. I'm running on DHCP. The only one that was fixed was PlayOnHD

I don't really understand by the two ranges, I just copied it from my Router page.. :|

Don't really understand what you mean by:

i would set the dhcp range from
192.168.1.128 to 192.168.1.253
and use 192.168.1.1 till 192.168.1.127 for static use.
so all devices set to automatic address will be given an address from the dhcp server
from 192.168.1.128 to 192.168.1.253
all devices using static you give them any address from 192.168.1.1 till 192.168.1.127

Static IP addresses must be outside the address range that is used for DHCP. So if your DHCP range is x.x.x.1 through x.x.x.127, a static IP address must between x.x.x.128 and x.x.x.254 (the IP address of your router/DHCP server).
Usually you can set the DHCP range (or alternatively the static IP address range) in the settings of your DHCP server. It might be that your primary range is used for DHCP and your secondary range is used for static address, but you are the only person who can confirm this.

Its not an operating system thingy because it works fine for me on the same OS. so theres probably some conflict/network setup issue on your side.
