Peter Hi Petertje, You need to use the following audio setting, << HDMI: LPCM Multichannel >>. Hit the Menu button while playing some media to get to the option quickly. This feature is only available through the HDMI interface not the SPDIF. Hi gabocado Sorry that I didn't mention it, but I use SPDIF via a external amplifier.

All I want to know is. Does this release fix the issue of passing DTS HD audio to the amplifier when playing Blu-Ray folders or ISO`s? I hope we dont have to use the play/pause routine still.
Regards

I can`t say how disappointed I was to put this new firrmware on only to find the problem with DTS HD/True HD audio from Blu-Ray folder or ISO is still there. Still paly/pause, paly/pause, paly/pause, paly/pause until you eventually get the HD audio back but then you cant FF, RW or Skip without losing it again. I might just toss this in the bin I would never sell it or give it away I dont like palming off faulty equipment.

For me it is a tragedy. I bought my AC Ryan February 2011. If there is no SW update that really works until X-mas, I'll send it back to my dealer in late December. I worked days, nights and so on, thinking I made mistakes, no it is the software, that even killed datas and one HDD.

BR Yesterday I found out why there are problems with the HDD. If I take a longer USB 3.0 cabel as delivered Windows will not accept the HDD as free of faulds. If I take the original cable with only less than 1/2 meter, everything is well accepted by Windows. But if I take a very long cable approx. 6 m with my Dockingstation everythin is o.k. If I use the same cable with AC Ryan problems are coming up. Now has to be clarified, wheter a hardware or software problem by AC Ryan. BR.

Hi guys, just to update you guys - we are of course reading the forums. However please keep the firmware topics clean and don't post off topic messages here as they will be deleted. To the player itself - we are of course working on newer software/updates. The latest beta is not that long ago and we have a couple of things for a next update. When it's ready we will release it through our usual channels (forums, website etc.). Until than you can, if you have technical problems also contact support directly. That way is usually much quicker than waiting for forum replies. Our contact details you have here: http://acryan.com/supportthanks & best regards,

I don't really feel this is acceptable! Although I'm relatively happy with the box. I do feel 3 odd months without a revised firmware (not beta) is quite a long time!
This version is a backward step on the HDD scanning! i know that a bug was stated on the intro message but assumed it couldn't get anyworse!
Like may others my box is gathering dust! it's a real shame!
Arne - Apologies for the comment which you removed! but you must understand our frustrations?
