 Re: [Release Candidate] ACR-PV76120 v8.5.x.r5440 Playon!DVR-
Save yourself and use the last almost working version: v8.3.2.r4538
Not the fancies of the latest but never had a reboot or such problems. Recordings from TV work most of the times. With a very annoying behavior but you can do your job.
I am afraid that will never be something more working. If one year was not enough...

I keep on logging in this forum every day, checking for new corrected f/w, but still nothing. It seems that they cannot (if they are working on it) fix it. I want to propose something if they are still working for new f/w. Why don't you leave some of the features (that might create the problems) out of the f/w? It is better to have a device that can do 10/10 features without any problems rather that to have a device that has 20 features, but unstable.

Same here, Last time when I have posted loss of faith in AC we got answers like "almost there and hard work on it".... Still I'm teasing AC to convince that I'm wrong (and 80% of posters here). Even a bet is welcomed... Live long and move on, I think

I realise that AC Ryan staff have there hands tied by realtek with regard to new firmware, but can Ac ryan supply us with an email or something for staff at realtek so we can voice our concerns. Im sure that if myself and fellow forum users could voice our concerns to the person in charge of the realtek firmware we could push things along much faster than with AC Ryan alone. As the saying goes "the squeaky wheel gets the grease" and by grease I mean working firmware.

Hi Jerry2, Subtitles are working perfectly on this release! I do use them almost always. You can even define the position and the size of the subtitles. Are you sure the name of your subtitles are equal to you video? KR

I am among the users that have problems with the subtitles. Very annoying... The subtitles was one the features that had some work and therefore it has some bugs that, hopefully, will get fixed in the next firmware release. Regards
