On the plus side SPIDF passthrough works and I don't have to mess around in the menu like before. PV73800_v9.5.5.r6629 Did a test with a folder containing 121 movies with thumbnails and had no vertical lines in gui, try resetting your device to default and setup again. If it wont work for you use this workaround, batch convert your jpg to png. Br. Nasua

PV73800_v9.5.5.r6629 I have also experienced this (although a bit differently). My movie folder has a around 70 movies, each in its own folder and browsing in thumbnail view did not update the thumbnails properly when you either go up or down to the next row. And at the same time when it has trouble updating the thumbnails, a horisontal color-crash block/bar is visible at the 2/3 top right on my screen.

Re: [Beta] Firmware_Playon!HD Mini2_PV73800_v9.5.5.r6629 As other have noted, thumbnails do not immediately update - although they do eventually. And there is an intermittent, ugly artifact strip above the thumbnails.
Evrything else seems OK:
Picture - excellent
Sound - excellent
Black band - exc... WTF, it's STILL there. It's especially annoying when trying to watch highlights of a recorded football match in slow-mo (the slow-mo on the Sky box is rubbish), it blocks a huge amount of the picture.
Please AC Ryan, now that you've fixed a lot of the other problems, would it be too much trouble to have a look at this?

Re: [Beta] Firmware_Playon!HD Mini2_PV73800_v9.5.5.r6629 The new version seems to have performance problems when it comes to update the thumbnails. Tested with a clean install with default settings, vertikale lines when showing thumbnails still appear .
The problem is present in both jpg and png files and make it difficult to scroll through the pictures and movies with picture. The problem seems to occur when you scroll down any three rows or more. If you don't need to scroll the problem does not seem to occur.
I went back to version v9.5.5.r5440 and tested the same files, and can confirm that the problem is not presented here.
Testet on PV73800_v9.5.5.r6629 and PV73800_v9.5.5.r5440

Re: [Beta] Firmware_Playon!HD Mini2_PV73800_v9.5.5.r6629 Unfortunately, a bug is still not fixed that the player's volume control does not work when playing MKV files and the audio is over SPDIF passtrough.
On my TV (over HDMI) it controls the volume properly.
Happens always, but seems like only when playing MKV files. Submitted to bugtracker. Can anyone reproduce?
