Due to the fact of a 1000 remotes, I am going to make 1 remote to rule them all!!!

But I do not want to use InfraRed, I want to control them directly/completly!

LG partly rules!!!!
Since the my TV 42lw650 has a rs232 for remote control, and all commands are explained in the user manual!!
So that's a +10 points for LG ; ))

But for my Home theater set HX906SX my search until now, nothing.
So that's - 10 points for LG : ((

My search on Playon!HD Mini2 also runs empty : ((

Can anyone help me?

Do you mean you need the infrared codes from the mini2 ?

Nope, I mean a protocol how to control the Playon!HD Mini2 eg:
read volume setting
write volume setting

read menu state
write menu state

read if is turned on
write turn on

etc etc

BUT if not possible, can you provide the IR codes?
So I can implement my own IR transmitter ; ))

Hi Aap, I have a similar project.

I also control my LG TV via the RS232 and othere devices via an IR transmitter/receiver.

All controlled by a BX20 and a Velleman 16 port IR receiver and a Micro webserver which can send UDP packages.

This all is an addition to my Logitech Harmony-ONE.
