Currently it will playback everytime if it exceeds 1000 photos. Is there a way to make a playlist for the player to go to next folder when it exceeds 1000 photos.

Sorry but i do not understand your question. You mean it will stop playback when it exceeds 1000 photos ? Are you having those pictures in different folders or all in one?

I have tested here for example 1200 photos on a sdcard which all resist in all folder and the slideshow plays for now.

Could you specify your problem please so we can check it out here? Thanks in advance.

Hi Arne , sorry if I did not make it clearer.
This relate to Veolo Gallary.
The 2,000 photos(about 4 GB) are all in one folder in the SDcard with 16GB storage capacity. The slideshow can only play for up to 1000 photos only.

I then tried to put 200 photos in five separate folders but the slideshow will not go to the next folder.

So how you configure the slideshow to play the next folder ? Is this doable.

Slideshow works only in 1 folder yes. To confirm this i would actually need to run through 1000+ photos which might take a while. I'll try to check what is up with this. Thanks for your input.

I have the same problem with LESS pictures.

I enter filemanager, enter a folder (500 jpgs) and then click on a jpg.
I start slideshow and then it stops after 10 or 15 or 20 pictures (after some pictures, not a standard number.

any ideas?

We are trying to improve the built-in gallery app in future releases. Meanwhile i would suggest you to try out other apps to watch pictures which load faster and are more comfortable to use. Here is a post from our apps sections on the forum: viewtopic.php?f=185&t=17731

Those 2 apps mentioned there work actually better than the standard android gallery.
