 Media Navigation problems!!
Hello
I'm enjoying the PlayonDVR and getting use to its amazing features including network features.
I found a problem with "Media navigation". After I inserted thousands of Music and Picture files, I could only navigate through the "file browser" and found out that I can'i navigate through the Music, Photo and Movie menus, unless I scan the HDD.
Now after scanned the HDD it became worst and very difficult to select the media I want to play.I see single files and I really cannot search the media effectively.
Please Advice which is the best way to place the media in the Internal HDD and create a friendly way to find and select the files to play. I manly need the help for pictures and Music which were originally arranged in libraries.
I'm believe must be a friendly way to organize, navigate and create play lists for music and pictures.
Regarding Movie files, after I installed the Yamj Juke Box I'm more or less satisfied.
BR

 Re: Media Navigation problems!!
Your correct that you have to scan the content first. After that a database will be filled and you can acces this files thru the options Movies music images etc.
But These scan option is not optimized so you will see them not really categorized.

 Re: Media Navigation problems!!
Thank u for your response,
The truth is that is better not to scan the HDD because:
1. It generates new issues and problems. 2. Makes the navigation less friendly than the original on the "file Browser" which is usually arranged in libraries by the owner of the database.
I'll be glad if a somebody finds a better way to arrange the media in the unit, which must be user friendly.

 Re: Media Navigation problems!!
You can add some maps whit your pc on your PV76120, when you make maps for music and film than you can use filebrowser to acces them. I think this is the best way of using the player.
