 Re: [HOW-TO] Custom Backgrounds + Font Types I have recently purchased a Playon!HD Mini2 and upgraded to v9.5.5.r5440. Changing the Font Type is working fine  . The custom background is however not working. I have converted both 720p and 1080p jpgs with Adobe PhotoShop Elements to noninterlaced pngs. I do not see the custom background at all after choosing one of the created pngs. The tips/tricks given in earlier posts are also not working for me.

Re: [HOW-TO] Custom Backgrounds + Font Types I know that a custom background does not work in firmware 5440 for the Mini 1, whereas as it did in the preceding firmware 4585 and 3966. That has been reported as a bug.
That might also be the case for the Mini 2.

i've already tried it all ...
the file name is short , type of file is PNG ...
the res is high ...
and nothing ... i'm entering to the "Settings" menu . then i'm changing the
Desktop thingie ... and after that ... going back to the previous menu
and ,,, nothing ,,, same thing ...
So what's wrong ?
Do I do something wrong here ?
Please help ...

Setup does not update the screen.
It can also be that works only with an internal HDD. By one FW it was at least. But I do not know which FW.

The only thing I do is plug the external Samsung 2 TB HDD to a hub ( USB Splitter )
connected to the USB port ...
And the other thing you've wrote ...
I didn't understand ...
