Would be great to get the "movies" tab working for an USB drive as well. Or am I missing something.
Keep up the good work. What playon do you have and what how did you setup it up? On the app i setup the IP address of the playon and i'm sure its connected to my network. the error is :Connection error http://192.168.1.133:1024/cgi-bin/cubermctr............. and so on. I have a playon mini 2 thanks, Ron

 Re: (Android) POHD Remote
Hi migeye,
I use a Mini 1 connected via LAN. Just filled in the stuff as mentioned. Don't forget the to use wifi, it won't work via 3G.
I think i had the same issue when i entered the ip including the ...:1024 at the end. Just skip that and it should be working fine i guess.
(Sorry for the late reply, I'm so pleased with my device I tend to forget about the forum)

 Re: (Android) POHD Remote
I realize that this is an old project now but could anyone clarify what is the scoop with the cubermctrl.cgi script. I look at my .../www/cgi-bin/ directory and this script is no where to be found in that directory. Is this cgi script embedded within the firmware ???? It must be since we can call it and I can not find it anywhere. Can anyone confirm ..... I just got a tablet not long ago and would like to experiment but would like to look at the cgi script to see all the options available. I am obviously missing something here. Thanks.

 Re: (Android) POHD Remote
I have a Mini2, and it's a shame, that I can't control it without the remote. Since there is no new version of the POHD Remote, and it is not working with the Mini2 anyway, I'm thinking about creating an android app. However, I'm a working man, and don't have too much free time. In case I have something working, I'll post it.
About cgi: cgi scripts are not part of the firmware, at least not on Mini2. Currently I'm using InfoSite, which has its own cgi scripts, but you need to install that, and the current release of InfoSite is by default not compatible with the Mini2.

 Re: (Android) POHD Remote
Update: A first Android prototype (or proof of concept) is ready for InfoSite, it is a simple bunch of buttons which can send commands to the POHD. However, without a nice Macro suport it is not yet very useful.

 Re: (Android) POHD Remote
First of all, great job guys! Its good to see a development like this!
Im trying to get it to work with my playonhd. Ive recently installed the playonx r4824 firmware, but i cant get the POHD remote to work.. I keep getting the connection errors previously mentioned by others in this topic When i head to the movies-section of the remote, it does show the top-level folders of my playonhd. But when i open one of the folders i get: 'No nfo file found2'.
Are these known problems or should i just change some settings?
