There seems to be a bug in the fw that when created with the new Yamj installer makes the player reboot
We are testing a internal version that has a fix for this
For the time beeing use the old Yamj installer
Hi Kraakie,
I wanted to make sure that nothing was wrong with my system, so I decided to go to the bottom of it and to test it the long way: start anew from scratch.
First I started with erasing the Jukebox files, and then with reflashing the firmware, as you gave a description of in another thread of this forum (4318 -> 3582 -> 4824). Of course I checked the disk too.
Then I installed Yamj 2.4 and GUI Config 1.03 and build a new Jukebox. No resets at starting Yamj. Then threw away Jukebox files again from my Playon!HD, installed GUI Config 2.0. on my computer and build a new Jukebox. Again no resets.
Then I reflashed to respectively firmware PV73100_v7.4.x.r3966 and firmware PV73100_v7.4.4.r5440 (both European) and followed in both cases the same Jukebox procedure as mentioned above.
Now the configuration of my system (Playon!HD) is a follows:
Software: V7.4.4 r5440
Bootloader: 0000.0202.1026L
Board: 1073DD C+
YAMJ: 2.4
GuiConfig: 2.0
And no resets at starting the Jukebox. So that is solved.
However, still a lot of the moviepages are not working. Displaying no cover image (and sometimes even no text), and at clicking the "play" button the message: "No video file found".
I looked at them all, and discovered that this was the case at all multi-file moviepages and SET's. Single-file movies are all displayed well. I checked and doublechecked the namings of the videofiles and SET's. Nothing wrong with it.
Since the problem with SET's was already reported and acknowledged, I will not research this further. I will wait for a solution. If anyone wants to see how generated files of these cases look like(.html, .jpg, .playlist.jsp, .playlist1.jsp, .playlist2.jsp, .xml, _large.png, _small.png), let me know and I will send an example.
In the meantime I'm glad with this new firmware. It looks and works great. I only hope Yamj will work one day, so I have a movie-guide.
Thnx for your reactions.
